Cinzia Aliotta

cinziaI co-founded SposiamoVi together with Alice in 2006. For me, wedding planning is my own little slice of heaven! My favourite weddings are those I get to plan with fun, stimulating, elegant couples. It’s a truly amazing feeling to be able to bring their distinct personalities and desired style into the design and approach of their wedding. If the client is demanding, that typically means that I can take the decor to a whole new level – something I really enjoy!

Although probably one of the pickiest and rather difficult brides/people in general to work with, I had a specific image in mind of what I wanted this day to be like… having teamed up with you we managed to make this into reality and beyond… more into a dream.Oksana and Leonard, London UK – Wedding in Santa Margherita Ligure

I mainly plan weddings that take place on the inland lakes of northern Italy, in Portofino and around the Cinque Terre (the Five Lands) on the glittering Italian Riviera. I like connecting with the events I plan in a more personal way. To let the personal feelings and emotions of the client, as well as my own insights, guide me throughout the process. To date, Alice and I have put our expertise together to plan over 100 successful, sumptuous weddings.

Your warmth, heart felt interest, professionalism and perfectionism made it perfect. – Suraya and Gunter, Netherlands – Portofino Wedding

There are a lot of different elements, gathered over the years, that have helped me broaden my understanding of international customer service and increase my planning expertise. I hold a degree in Languages and Foreign Cultures, plus a Masters in Communications and Event Planning. Next to that, I’m fluent in English and worked previously in Milan for an important international event company. After some time working with that company, I moved on to planning private events. That last job was really the catalyst that flung me, quite happily and willingly, into planning Italian destination weddings.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my beautiful daughter. Also high on my list of things to do is travel and enjoying good company. I love, love, love to cook! And it goes without saying that I love eating great food, especially sushi. Maybe it’s the Italian in me, but, in my opinion, nothing goes better with excellent food than fine wine!
